I'm not really one to post on my journal, but I think this is worthy of such an occurence.

Went out and bought 2 copies of Half-life 2 on Saturday, one for me and one for insaneamoeba. Started playing it that night (Sunday morning?) and realized that I hadn't ever beaten HL1, so I installed HL1 and started playing that. As always, it's a great game.

BUUUUT, the whole reason we decided to get HL2 is because Team Fortress 2 is coming out. I've been looking forward to this game for a good 5 years now, even before I graduated High School, and it comes out next week! I'm super pumped, but at the same time I know what's going to happen. It comes out October 9th, my first Tuesday in Ottawa, so I'm going to be severely lacking in the internets department. Which when I think about it, is probably a good thing, since I'm SUPPOSED to be looking at apartments damnit, I want to shoot people with rockets.

Anyway, the game looks freakin' awesome. Cell-shaded Shooter? can you say "yes please?"

Oh well, at least I know that as soon as I DO get internet, my life is gone again. I'm also hoping that my old TFC clan-mates are as pumped as me, and are thinking about re-forming.
