I love my reasonably young body. It recovers so well.

I'm going to want to nap when I get home from work, and I rather hope it's busy, but the 4 hours I got seems to have been enough =P

wheee!

Wall-E
I don't have the words to express my utmost... all engulfing... love for Wall-E.

This movie completely and utterly pulled at my heart strings. It was all I could do not to cry at several points. The plot line was amazing, and the deeper meaning behind the whole thing really caught me off guard. It was so much meant to be a wake up call to people and what they are doing to themselves and others. It touched on so many thoughts I have about our society and our species and what we are doing to ourselves.

I don't think I've ever been so moved by a movie before. Everyone must go and see it.

I just...I just don't know what to say to express just how this movie has changed something inside me.

Was an interesting end to what was a very stress inducing day.

So, suspicion: Beer gets me drunker than hard luiquor.

Stupid decision: Drinking beer for coworker's party when I have to work at 7am the nexst morning (rationalization: takes longer to drink beer, so I won't drink as much as opposed to smaller mixed drinks. Plus cheaper)

1am, fuzzy fun, but have 6 hours untill I have to be at work. Lots of time ^_^

May feel differently in 5 hours when I have to be awake.

Have arranged wakup call wit hwork (hi, night audit person, can you call me at 6am please and make sure I'm up to relieve you? thnx!)

Today we got our wedding gifts from the UPS depot. We are now the proud owners of TWO fondue pots. One for cheese and one for chocolate, we've decided. Tomorrow gets to be thank you note happy fun time. :p And getting all this stuff out of the boxes to find PLACES for it. :p

Also, for the record, only having one NMR machine running is a PAIN. It's already mostly booked up for tomorrow, because just about everyone needs NMR to check their reactions. There's a lot of "Ooh, someone must have cancelled this ten minutes! MINE!" They're moving the NMR room, but even when they get the machines set up in the new facility, it's a construction zone and we're not allowed in. We're hoping they move the boundary soon. :p

And some games that I own dont appear to be able to install... Ill try again later- but I really wanna play black and white 2 on a computer that wont be as slow as all hell.

I don't know how it happened, but I have become a total Honey & Clover addict. And I hate slice of life. Well, not hate it. It just bores me to tears. IN FACT, when I first watched the first episode of H&C, I turned it off halfway through. I am very much a judge by the first episode type of person, because all the anime that I absolutely love has won me over from the beginning.

But now apparently there is an exception.

I blame Shojo Beat. If they hadn't started serializing the manga...because in short doses the slice of life was okay. And then the Ayu/Mayama/Rika triangle was introduced. And I fell in love (mainly with Ayu, because I love her and feel for her so much that she is regularly making me cry...actually, the last chapter focused on her in Shojo Beat marked the first time manga has made me cry!).

And now I'm only a few episodes away from the ending of the first season and I've surpassed the point I've read to in the manga and I can't wait for Viz to release the DVDs so I can buy them and watch them a million times over.

T_______T

(also, I should totally be in bed right now, according to my plan. A+ me)

I'm off to Grafton to teach my cousins how to play the game...not sure if this is the sort of thing I should be getting myself into, I'm going to be there for a lot longer than originally realized. But what can you do?

I'll bring my laptop and external hard drive with me, might be able to get some writing done but I wouldn't count on it. My brain hasn't come back online for that yet *sigh*

Hey Ryan (or, most likely Margaret, who needs to go get Ryan/tell him/etc, etc, etc...), our baker, William, says you have a nice ass :]

Yes, I'm having fun showing wedding pictures to everyone. Good times.

Also, Margaret, I was wondering if random visits would be workable this month, so I can bring you your present and meet you cat (and probably hang out with you too). Going down on my days off would probably work best, so I don't have to book time off and hope to get it (you can never be sure these days).

I'm working at Queensway Esso tonight, which means I really need to be shot if I don't manage to get out of bed at 8 when the alarm goes off. Hopefully, wanting to watch I Survived a Japanese Game Show will provide enough motivation (it's pretty awesome and hilarious).

Also I may very well finish Anansi Boys before my copy of the book even gets here XD Neil Gaimon has a very strange writing style, but it is a pretty quick read. I need to figure out where my copy of The Perfect Bones is for next month. As well as White Oleander. I don't own any of the other picks though (not yet, at least).

Uh...that is about it. I have a few new anime that I'm going to be watching, from the summer season. Up first (because I already have it downloaded) is Antique Bakery. I also am waiting to see Ryoko's Case File, World Destruction, and Blade of the Immortal (which starts airing on the 13th, all you fans of the manga on my FL).

yay!
For once I get just what I wanted!

Went to the eye doctor today, and found out that I need glasses [which I had suspected due to the troubles I've been having] But I really wanted the glasses to be something I could wear all the time.

And they are!!

And still better it's all FREE!! Yes!! My Disability Drug Card covers it all!! [although diability will only pitch in $25 towards frames] But I found frames that I like that were $25 so I don't have to pay a cent!!

And still more! The Doctor is going to prescribe me Transitions lenses since a lot of the medication I'm on can make my eyes even more light sensitive then they already are!

I has happy feet, I just avoided spending $300 [it's such a relief!]

I want my glasses!!!
